No.1 Spot:
Dark KnightOne of the best movie of 2008. Heath Ledger stole the lime lite for this movie. He deserves an Oscar. Harvey Dent, the District Attorney who eventually became 2-Face also very good. Over all, all the actors did well. The movie is very well edited, 2 and half hours passed by unnoticed.
I am waiting for the Complete DVD Version, then I will sit back, relax and enjoy the movie comfortably in the house.
No 2. Hellboy 2 : The Golden ArmyThe special effects and characters designs is already worth the ticket. And as an avid Hellboy Fan, I enjoyed the movie, but not the Hellboy Character. The movie version of Hellboy Character is a bit sissy IMO. And the movie suggested an impossible matter: Demon impregnate a human woman. I wish they would have not think of such sick thing.
No 3. HancockA hero movie with a different approach. I enjoyed this movie. Charlize Theron and Will Smith delivered good acting, and a lesson in love.
No. 4 Red Cliff
A bit too long and lavishly done. Nice dialogs. But some parts are historically incorrect though. Intimate scene was cut in Singapore, but all the other gruesome violent scenes are intact. Hope part 2 will be better.
No.5 WantedWanted: My ticket money back. This movie really insulted my intelligence: normal bullets that can travel curve lines (even circular line). Avoid this at all cause.

i have only watched "Hellboy" out of the five.. planning "Dark Knight" for the next..
Dark Knight rocks!! It is very hotly discussed on the net. With mostly positive reviews. Be sure to catch it on a weekend morning/afternoon, weekday nights are not recommended due to the long hours and lenghty conversations.
The one thing I don't like is Batman's voice.
this is quite a lot of movies u watch in a week... i m goin for dark knight coming wednesday, and red cliff in the weekend..

i watched most of the movies you watched except Hellboy. Somehow, i just don't like the way Hellboy is designed. He is in ugly red, he is bolding with a "Mediterranean" head, he is not handsome, he is rather fat but awkwardly muscular.And i dont like the two funny horns on his head.... just can't accept the way he look.... so banned this movie.... hehe....
most importantly, why can't the designer put more hair on his head....must well make hellboy fully bold. A hero that i can't accept. I still prefer the traditional type of hero.... e.g. batman, superman, spiderman... Hancook is not the type of hero in my heart too.... he got no nice custome.
